Yesterday we left the Yacht club at 1300 and as the wind was blowing strong from the North East we decided to spend the night in Sydney Harbour. Picked up the club mooring at Vaucluse Bay and went for a good walk around the area stopping for a drink at the Watsons Bay Hotel. The anchorage at Vaucluse bay was a bit uncomfortable so moved to Stores Beach for the night.
This morning we left the harbour at 0600 and are motorsailing into a 12 knot NE wind. The forecast for the next couple of days is for strong winds from the NE so at this stage plan to hang around the Hawksbury River for a couple of days.
